In early 2020, FPA Women’s Health implemented telehealth to use for specific visits. As cases of COVID-19 increased, they planned for the inevitable. In a week’s time, their providers engaged in virtual visits nine hours a day, six days a week.
Joni Chroman, chief operating officer for FPA Women’s Health, will discuss the value of telehealth, virtual visits, and patient self-scheduling. She will also explain strategies for developing an integrated workflow and internal processes necessary for success.

Joni began her healthcare career at Western Dental and then joined the nation’s largest FQHC, AltaMed Health Services, serving in multiple progressive roles and ultimately as AVP Patient Access leading front office and contact center operations through cultural transformation and business process improvement.
